Lord Give Me Strength
Lord give
me strength from day to day
To walk
the strait and narrow way
And may I
live so close to Thee
That I may
glimpse dark Calvary.
Lord lead
me on to realms of light
Where
Jesus reigns forevermore
And when
at last I come to die
Oh land me
safe on Canaan’s Shore.
Lord I
would live from day to day
To help
some soul along the way
That they
may catch a glimpse of Thee
The living
Lamb of Calvary.
Lord give
me faith from day to day
To trust
Thy love along the way
To live
for Thee what e’er betide
And point
souls to Thy bleeding side.
Lord give
me trials to bear each day
To keep me
humble at Thy feet
That I may
look straight up to Thee
And may
not miss Thee blessings sweet.
