I Know That I Am Going

I know that I am going

To that home above someday

And I know that I will praise Him

All along the upward way.

For I know I love my Savior

He has done so much for me

I know that I shall meet Him

Just beyond Deaths’ troubled sea.

While along through life I journey

Though thorns my pathway make

I rejoice that I’m found worthy

Just to bear them for His sake.

I know in His word He promised

My strength as my day shall be

On Jesus I cast my burdens

And He bears them all for me.
